The last days with the V-litter
I think it's a long time since I have had a litter that has been so easy like this has been. Mum Hermine has always been very good at taking care of her puppies, and this was not any exception. But, she also had a lot of help from Qarmen and Ramona. Ådne prefer to keep his distance unless we were outside where he had more space. The puppies have been quiet and peaceful both at nights and days. They have basically been quiet until I got up in the mornings and was ready for the day. If it it was 6AM or 9AM did not matter to them. The first six weeks there were mainly milk from Hermione which was the main nutrition for them, although I did offer them meat from Vom & HUndemat and Large Breed puppy from Royal Canin as well. The last two weeks there was more action in the food basket, but rarely they did not eat more than three times a day. Hermine diet until the last puppy went to his new home, 9 1/2 weeks old.
In addition to this, I am blessed with experienced buyers. Everyone have or have had BMD earlier. There are only two of the puppies which have moved to homes where there are no other dogs. Thanks to you all, and good luck. I am very satisfied with both puppies and puppy buyers.

Seven weeks old
The puppies are in their most beautiful age, and are just lovely - except from the mornings. They have got their last treatment for worms (Welpan x 3). I have not seen any worms, and that is good. They have increased their weights alomost two kilos last week, even though I do not think they eat that much. They got a lot of milk from Hermine, and she is very patient with them. They spend the time outside with the adults dogs while I am at work. they are at the porch where they have a lot of toys, the swing and tunnels, blancets and a cage where they can sleep and rest.
I realized today that I actually did not have time for photo session, but we made it anyway. Thanks to Karin Hoff who helped me, while Hans and Børge were drinking coffe.
But, this weekend their father and his owners will come to visit, and I think (hope) Tone has plans for a lot of pictures.

Six weeks old
They are a bit more active now, and just love to fool around outside. I am trying to take pictures, but it is not very easy alone. I guess you know all of you who have tried.

Five weeks old
All the puppies and their mum have gotten a bath - they really needed that. They thought the blower was a bit scary in the beginning, but after a while it was OK and then it was just fun. We have made a playgroung for the outside at the porch, and they spend some time there during the day. I guess they will be there more and more if the weather continues like it has been. Cold in the nights, but sunny and warm in the day.
Hermine is taking very well care of them, and she has great help from the rest of the crew. Ådne does not care very much of them, but Ramona and Qarmen do.

The puppies have moved into the kitchen, and they have been dewormed. The best of all, their grandmother (Quinto's owner) has started to give them names. I will not be surprised if some of them are italien ;)

Easy to be a breeder with such a good mother. Everybody is doing just fine. The puppies have had a tast of meat, and they liked it very much!

One week old
I have had problems with internett, that is why I have not been able to update any pictures. But, it works for the time beeing. The puppies are doing fine, eat and sleep. Their mum has a lot of experience - she really knows how to take care of her babies.
