During a weekend in the middle of May something happened over the night.Ramona in a way lost the balance, specialy in behind. We ckecked her up, but we couldn't see anything except that she had lost a lot of muscles. Strange, because just a few days earlier she had gone for a walk - 15 kilometers - with no problems. She was still happy and went along for our daily walks even though she was out of balance. It didn't seem to bother her. She was so happy in the woods. Her appetite was fine, and we thought she was doing OK and that she could live with it. Maybe just the age. It was like this for five weeks, but yhen something changed. She sterted to have problems going down the stairs, was more tired, raising her head gave her pain and she got a special expression in her eyes. Wednesday 26th. June we knew in our heart that her time with us at earth was over.

Lilli and I had to follow her to the last rest.

Ramona was not that much at shows, she was the one who prefered to stay at home keeping Børge company. She gave birth to some special puppies, and we have her daughter Ana here with us.

In September Ramona turned eight years old, and we are so happy to have a veteran in our home.

After some trouble last winter she had her uterus removed in March, and no she is in good shape. Maybe in better condition than for a long time - she has lost some weight.

She entered the veteran ring two times in September and two times in October. She got three veteran CACs, and bevame NBSK veteran champion. It was actually five years since she was in a show ring in Norway.
